No seriously, you’re going to love it in there.

Four rooms. Four NYC neighborhoods. One very eclectic Victorian house on Park Avenue — yes, that Park Avenue, the one in Berlin, Wisconsin. Each room has its own personality, its own view and more original art than you'll be able to fully appreciate in one stay.

(Come back. You'll notice something new.)

The Central Park Suite

The Central Park Suite

If Nathan Strong Park is Berlin's great escape, this room is your front-row seat to it. The Central Park Suite is the biggest, brightest room in the house — queen bed dressed for comfort, a separate sitting area perfect for reading or doing absolutely nothing, and windows that look straight out onto the park.

Private bath. Full park view. Enough space to actually spread out.

And yes — your small dog or cat is welcome here. There's a per-night pet fee (details in the listing), and we only ask that they're as well-behaved as the art on the walls. Which, to be fair, is kind of a high bar.

Best room for: the Tuesday Farmers Market, the holiday light display (November–January), and anyone who wants the most space in the house.

The Upper East Side

The Upper East Side has always been a bit more refined, a little more surprising than people expect — and this room delivers. A generous queen bed, a private shower bath, soaring ceilings, and views of the patio and The Enchanted Forest — the small stand of trees our family named years ago, back during the years we went full Wizard of Oz for Halloween (all 1,200 trick-or-treaters of it).

More closet space than you'll know what to do with for a weekend. Plenty of natural light. And the kind of layered, eclectic décor that makes you feel like you're staying somewhere genuinely special.

The Upper West Side

The Upper West Side has always had a certain effortless appeal — and this room leans into it. A king bed. Comfortable chairs. Park views through large windows. Art that rewards a second look.

It's the kind of room where you sit down to "just rest for a minute" and suddenly it's an hour later and you've read forty pages and feel like a completely different person.

Traveling with another couple or a friend who needs their own space? The Upper West Side pairs beautifully with the Lower East Side next door — two rooms, shared bath, and enough distance that everyone gets their own door and their own morning.

Best room for: the Tuesday Farmers Market, the holiday light display, groups pairing with the Lower East Side.

The Lower East Side

The Lower East Side

The Lower East Side is our flex room — and flex is the right word.

Cozy queen bed. Same original art and design attention as every room in the house. Shares a bathroom with the Upper West Side next door, which makes it perfect in two situations:

Option 1 — Two-room stay: You and a travel companion each want your own bedroom but you're fine sharing a bathroom. Book the Upper West Side + Lower East Side together and you've got two private rooms connected by one bath — like a suite, without the suite price. Great for friends, siblings, or couples who love each other but also love separate duvets.

Option 2 — Whole-house group booking: Renting all four rooms for a family gathering, bachelorette weekend, or small retreat? The Lower East Side rounds out the house perfectly. Message Janet to discuss whole-house rates.

Not available as a standalone single-room booking. Book alongside the Upper West Side, or as part of a full house reservation.
